In addition to fine sandy beaches and beautiful promenades, there is a large selection of shops, restaurants and bars as well as a rich nightlife. Thanks to the steady stream of Scandinavian tourists who populate the streets of Torrevieja, the city has a wide range of goods and activities that appeal to Swedes, although genuine Spanish is of course in the majority.
