Kilometres of white sandy beaches are waiting for you at the Valencia Beaches. Here you can enjoy, on average, the 300 days of sunshine the city experiences throughout a year. La Malvarrosa and Las Arenas are the beaches with the best atmosphere.
Take a stroll along the promenade that connects the two beaches. Maybe take a seat at one of the many restaurants where you can experience a lunch of traditionally cooked paella. A paella, made from locally sourced rice and organic produce, as well as wines from Valencia's nearby vineyards. All while looking out over the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
In the evenings, you can see the boardwalk filled with people having a sundowner at any of the lounge bars. Valencia Beach has something for everyone, and the lounge bars are the perfect place to relax after a day in the sun.
Want some time away from the beach? Time for some sightseeing. How about a visit to the Formula 1 course? Or visit the fishing boat harbour? From the beach, you can easily reach Valencia city centre by metro, bus or bicycle; the city has city bikes that you borrow in different places.
Only about 10 kilometres from the town you will find Albufera Natural Park, this houses a lovely sandy area with natural dunes and abundant vegetation. This is where you will find some of Valencia's wildest, and perhaps most beautiful beaches of Saler, Devesa, and Garrofera. The scenery is a stunning and well worth making sure you have your camera or phone battery charged.
