El Albir, is a perfect tourist destination along the Costa Blanca coast with its extensive beach and its turquoise waters. The small town is surrounded by cliffs, some of them over 300 metres high. From El Albir you can walk along the seafront to Altea, known as Spain's equivalent of Greece's Santorini. With a Mediterranean climate, the average annual temperature is around 18ºC, with August being the hottest month of the year. The population is tourist-orientated and consists of both national and international residents, and we can find restaurants from all over the world, such as German, Chinese, Italian, English, and Japanese. There is also no shortage of traditional Spanish restaurants, which offer delicious dishes made from rice and fish.
