I work as real estate agent and office manager at HusmanHagberg in Nerja. Since 2020 I live in El Penoncillo in Torrox, about 5 km from Nerja. Working as a real estate agent in Spain is for me an opportunity to help others fulfil their dreams. The dream of a life in Spain. I meet people from different parts of Europe every day and everyone comes here with a positive attitude and full of hope. Is there a better work environment than that?

I want all my clients to always feel that I really want to help them find their dream home. Honesty is important to me, and it creates a sense of security for the customer that creates trust. The more honest I am, the more the customers trust me, and trust is key to satisfied clients. I want our clients to feel that we care that we bare impartial and always want the bet for our clients, whether the client is a seller or a buyer.

The fact that I ended up in Torrox was really a pure coincidence, but we have not regretted a second. Torrox has Europe's best climate according to Aemet, Spain's State Meteorological Agency. It is a very nice and involving atmosphere here and the proximity to both sea and mountains gives life the extra golden edge.

My advice for you who are moving down or getting a holiday home - have a long Sunday lunch every week, just like the Spaniards do, but in different places. Drive up to a mountain village you've never been to, another town or a new beach. The challenge is to always go to some new place to discover even more of our beautiful country Spain.
