    Living in Estepona

Welcome to the resort town of Estepona, on the Costa del Sol, about 33 kilometres south of Marbella. The city offers idyllic, kilometre-long sandy beaches as well as shops, pharmacies, banks, post offices and both traditional and modern restaurants. What creates the city's charm and authentic feeling is that you are part of the city, even as a tourist. There are no big hotels or department stores. If you are looking for a genuine Spanish experience, this area is for you!

There are many superb seafood restaurants on the attractive fishing harbour. You can also buy fresh fish directly from the fishermen or why not enjoy a Sangria in one of the many bars on the popular Calle Real. Malaga Airport is 84 kilometres and Gibraltar Airport 45 kilometres. You can easily get to the city by direct buses from both airports. Feel free to contact our experienced estate agents if you want to know more about Estepona.

Buying a house or apartment in Estepona

Many people who choose to buy a property in this area want to be close to a golf course. They will not be disappointed with over 30 golf courses in the area including the Valle Romano Golf and Estepona Golf. Estepona is said to be the pearl of the cultured oyster among all the resorts on this sunny coast! Here you can enjoy everything from jazz to flamenco evenings.

If you’re thinking of moving here with your family, there is a wide selection of International schools in the Marbella area. Buses run between Estepona and Marbella several times a day.

If you want to buy housing here, we have both apartments and houses for sale. Our real estate agents are happy to help you find your dream home.

Estepona offers culture, sun, gorgeous beaches, golf & delicious food!

The Costa del Sol has something for everyone. Visit whitewashed old-town centres and flower-filled squares like the Plaza de las Flores, home to the eclectic artworks of the Colección Garó. Gorgeous sandy beaches stretch for 20 km. Estepona is perfect for those who want to live in a quieter area.

A palm-lined promenade, the Paseo Marítimo, runs next to the beautiful Playa de la Rada beach. Nearby are the restaurants and water sports facilities of Puerto Deportivo, plus a fishing port and the cove of Playa del Cristo. There are many family attractions close by, including a water park and a zoo.

Estepona also has three museums as well as other activities such as paintball, horse riding, tennis and paddleboarding.

The Sierra Bermeja mountain (1.449m) dominates the landscape behind Estepona and offers an opportunity to explore its natural beauty using its numerous hiking trails while enjoying spectacular views.

Only 20 kilometres away is Nueva Andalucia, a residential area outside Marbella where many Europeans live all year round. Here you will find plenty of restaurants and grocery stores.

Laguna Village is a popular place just outside Estepona, featuring beach clubs, chic boutiques and great restaurants, where you can spend a relaxed day with family and friends.

Estepona has many seafood restaurants to choose from. Amura, located at the marina, is one of the better ones. Of course, there are also lots of authentic Spanish tapas bars to be savoured in the city.
