Enjoy everything from sunny beaches to skiing in Fuengirola

Fuengirola isn’t only about sunny beaches. Although that’s the drawcard, people also want to be shopping, eating and chilling. Parque Miramar Shopping Centre and the Fuengirola Market, for instance, are great hang-out spots. Both local and national saints are celebrated with festivals or fiestas as the Spaniards say. Nature lovers will appreciate Bio Parc, a unique zoo where you can enjoy recreations of natural habitats and ecosystems and where animals are kept in natural habits in an effort to preserve them. Another attraction that stands out is Andalusia’s Sierra Nevada natural park which in the wintertime is a very popular ski resort. But even if you are not here for skiing, a trip to the resort town is worth it just for the mountain views and the chance to revel in the spectacular nature.
