Costa Tropical

Welcome to HusmanHagberg Costa Tropical.

Find your dream home on Costa Tropical

As the name suggests, Costa Tropical is a coastal stretch with a subtropical climate. This coast, just along from the Costa del Sol is at the southern end of the Granada province. It is about 80 km long and is characterised by long hot summers and short, mild winters.

The climate means that the area has perfect conditions for the cultivation of many vegetables and fruits. Cherimoya, a local fruit with a unique appearance and characteristic taste, is well-worth trying on the spot. The local dishes, seafood and meat, are made with the locally grown vegetables and deliver a flavour particular to the region.

Experience the Costa Tropical

Costa Tropical offers beautiful beaches and secluded bathing coves. You can feel and see the history of the region everywhere, especially in the older towns and villages.  One place to visit is Salobreña, popularly called "The White Village", a picture-postcard town with its Moorish castle.

Costa Tropical is also a great venue who want to combine lazing on the beach with some active sports like mountain hiking. The fabulous Sierra Nevada mountains are only a short drive inland, with great hiking and cycling routes. Sierra Nevada also has one of the longest ski seasons in Europe, from November to early June (depending on snowfall) with over 100 km of slopes for both skiing and snowboarding.
