El Albir, is the perfect tourist destination on the Costa Blanca coast with its vast beach and its turquoise waters. The small town is surrounded by cliffs, some of them over 300 meters altitude. From El Albir you can walk the longest promenade into Altea, known as Spain's equivalent to Greece Santorini. With a Mediterranean climate, the average annual temperature is about 18ºC, with August as the warmest month of the year. The population is tourism-oriented and consists of both national and international residents, and we can find restaurants from all over the world, such as German, Chinese, Italian, English, and Japanese. There is also no shortage of traditional Spanish restaurants, which offer delicious dishes made of rice and fish. In this area we also find the famous vineyard Enrique Mendoza, which can be visited all year round.
